Megan Wright
Assistant Teaching Professor of Graphic Design/Graphic Communications
Megan Wright is a designer and educator from Indianapolis, Indiana. She discovered her passion for design early, attending high school at the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and the Humanities on Ball State’s campus before earning her B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Indiana University Bloomington in 2020. She is currently completing her M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction at Indiana University Indianapolis, where her research focuses on user experience design and accessibility.
Megan’s professional experience spans a variety of roles in both corporate and nonprofit settings. She has worked with organizations such as Minnetrista Museum & Gardens, Steak n’ Shake, and IU Health Plans, creating projects ranging from digital campaigns and motion graphics to branding systems and web content. Alongside her design work, she has also freelanced for a range of clients, developing creative solutions tailored to their unique needs.
Megan is excited to bring this breadth of experience into the classroom. She values design not only as a creative practice, but also as a way to connect with others, solve problems, and improve everyday life. She is thrilled to return to Ball State as an Assistant Teaching Professor in Graphic Design/Graphic Communications Management.
