Dr. Laura Golobish earned their PhD at the University of New Mexico in 2022 and joined the faculty at Ball State that fall. Prior to moving to Muncie, they worked in collections management at the Tamarind Institute, co-curated “The View from Here: Tamarind at Sixty and Beyond,” and taught courses on the history of graphic arts at UNM. They have also recently received a short-term fellowship to work with Indigenous prints and ledger drawings at Chicago’s Newberry Library in support of their project on geologic time and land stewardship in James Lavadour’s (Walla Walla) lithographic process and landscape prints.
