Non-Degree Programs

We offer courses that fulfill prerequisites if you plan to apply to another school that offers programs in chiropractic health, optometry, pharmacy, physicians assistant, or veterinary care.

Department of Biology

Programs in secondary education prepare you for licensure to teach academic subjects in middle and/or high schools. Your secondary education major will be in a department within the College of Sciences and Humanities where you will take classes in your content area and complete coursework to prepare you to teach. You will also take professional education courses in Teachers College. Throughout your coursework, expect to learn your content area deeply, learn about and practice high-quality teaching, and spend time in local schools to get real-world experience in classrooms.
